The Curious Op Shop Development Workshops
Over the course of three days in April and one day in June, workshop participants aged 8-13 years old met with Catbird Theatre Company’s team of professional theatre artists at the Noosaville Library. They were led through a series of theatre games and devising exercises to help develop the groundwork for the show. Participants discovered and created the past stories of selected items from an op shop. Catbird Theatre will develop those stories further to create a full-length play.
The workshops were free to participants. Participants will receive recognition for the work they did.
Our partners for this production are Noosa Library, Making Lives Matter, Bloomhill Cancer Care, and The Old Ambulance Station.
