The Party is excited to be back on the Sunshine Coast at The Village Puppet Festival at the Maleny Playhouse.
This festival is hosted by Little Big World Puppet Company.

Sweetie Swamp Wallaby is getting ready for a big surprise—her joey is about to emerge from her pouch.
Luckily, she has her friends Edna Echidna and Maggie Magpie to help her prepare.
Come join the animals to get ready for The Party!
This show has gentle and playful interactions with multiple sensory elements and puppets.
Production History
The Party premiered in 2024 in Noosa. It was remounted in 2025 and toured Southeast QLD visiting schools, libraries, theatres, and community halls. It was remounted again in 2026 for a sold-out performance at The Events Centre, Caloundra. It was part of Backbone Youth Arts's Tiny Stages Series. It received funding from Arts Queensland and the Queensland Government to tour it to the Far North June and July of 2026.
The 2024 development of this show was supported through a RADF in partnership between Noosa Council and the QLD Government.
